They’re free of grain, dairy, and refined sugar, and full of nutritious ingredients like bananas, nut butter, honey, cinnamon, raisins, and one of my all-time favorite flours – buckwheat.
A grain-free alternative.

We’re trying to eat fewer grains so these would be perfect for my family! They look delish!
Thanks, Allison! I hope your family enjoys them as much as mine does. 🙂
This looks absolutely delicious and love that they are made with buckwheat flour. I have made banana nut chocolate chip cookies before but those were with regular flour. Would love to try these out!
Buckwheat is one of my favorites, Shumaila! I hope you get a chance to enjoy them!
I love that these are still chewy, despite the lack of typical ingredients and they look absolutely delicious! I also love how you used buckwheat! I am really going to try these soon. Thanks for sharing! Luci’s Morsels | fashion. food. frivolity.
I hope you enjoy them, Luci! I love finding ways to sneak new, healthier ingredients into treats. 🙂
Oh gosh, how yummy do these look, and grain free too!
Thank you, Bintu! 🙂
I’ve never worked with buckwheat flour, but it sounds incredibly interesting to use it in cookies!
Haha, yes, it’s interesting. 😉 Probably not a flour most people would think of to put in cookies, but it’s surprisingly delicious!
Yummy. I am doing yoga right now and eating cookies;)
Haha! Good job. 😉
These look so good Raia! I love that you use buckwheat and you can’t go wrong with those raisins and chocolate in there 🙂
Thanks, Emily! Raisins and chocolate definitely are a plus. 😉
Since these have buckwheat and bananas, I think they’re safe to have for breakfast. 😉 Also? That chewy part is so enticing.
Agreed. 😉 Definitely perfect for breakfast!
