Decadent and delicious, these triple chocolate mousse shooters are not only easy to whip up, theyβre full of healthy, real food goodness!
Triple the chocolate β triple the love.
It wouldnβt take much snooping around this olβ blog for you to discover that I have a love for chocolate. A deeply-rooted, passionate love. Well, I donβt know about passionate, but I could probably make just about anything chocolate-covered or filled and still enjoy it. Like sweet potatoes, or marshmallows, and of course the normal things like cake and frozen yogurt.
Many of my friends have told me (multiple times) that I have a sweet tooth. But I really donβt think thatβs the case. I canβt handle candy (unless itβs homemade and honey-sweetened), and any overly-sweet treat makes me sick. In fact, if I make cookies and use sugar I canβt even handle more than a 1/4 cup per batch. Much to my familyβs chagrin.
Suffice it to say, I donβt really have a sweet tooth, I have a cocoa tooth. Sounds a little weird, thoughβ¦Β
The best way to eat avocados.
Like all the things I enjoy covered in chocolate, avocados are no different. I know itβs super un-crunchy of me, but Iβve never liked them plain. Or not plain. But you know the good thing about chocolate? It wonderfully masks all the un-deliciousness of avocados. Now I can enjoy all the goodness they offer (like fiber, potassium, vitamin E and B-vitamins, folic acid, and of course healthy fats) without suffering from their strange taste and weird texture.
And, like most of my other avocado recipes, this one was born out of the need to use up an avocado someone gave me that was sitting in my fridge. Waste not, want not, I always sayβ¦ π
Easy for the win.
On top of being full of chocolate, and healthiness (from the hidden avocados), this gorgeous little dessert is super easy to put together. It only uses a few ingredients that most real-foodies have on hand already, some juice glasses, and a hand mixer. Bam. Deliciousness.
No need to bake or chill in the fridge (though you could if you want to serve them later), just mix, serve, and enjoy!
In the recipe card Iβve linked to some of the products from my affiliate partners that I like to use. Purchasing through these links wonβt cost you anything extra. Thanks!Β
