To be honest (and probably un-American) I’ve never been a marshmallow fan. I’ve always thought they lacked in any flavor other than processed sugar. Not to mention they’re full of strange and unnecessary ingredients.
Tetrasodium pyrophosphate? What’s that? Blue 1 food coloring? Why? Not to mention all the corn. Yes, corn. Which does not bode well for someone with corn sensitivities. (A.k.a. me.) Of course, that’s just the store-bought variety. Thankfully there’s always homemade!
Homemade is always better.
The first time my friend convinced me to make homemade marshmallows with her for Christmas a few years ago. I wasn’t sure I would like them, but after my first bite I was in love.
‘Cause everyone knows you can’t go wrong making something chocolate. Amiright?
