Full of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and of course deliciousness, this easy homemade dairy-free strawberry milk is a treat thatβs perfect for the summer.
Strawberry love.
Itβs finally that delicious time of year when strawberries are ready for eating. Even though I once struggled with a strawberry intolerance, thanks to the GAPS Diet Iβve been able to enjoy them in moderation over the past few years. And Iβm grateful, since not only are the tasty, theyβre so nutritious as well!
Strawberries are high in vitamins A, C, K, amino acids, and antioxidants (like flavonols, and quercetrin), helping your body fight inflammation and disease development. Theyβre also high in potassium, fiber, manganese, which is needed for proper nervous system development and brain health.
Homemade Dairy-Free Strawberry Milk
This easy homemade dairy-free strawberry milk is a delicious way to sneak all that nutritional goodness into your kiddos. (Or yourselfβ¦) You can make this βmilkβ with any kind of dairy-free milk you like. Iβve used almond milk, but my kiddos prefer I make it with my homemade coconut milk.Β
This recipe is only sweetened by the strawberries, but you can add in extra nutrition and sweetness with a little raw honey, if you like. You could also boost the protein of the milk by adding in some kosher, grass-fed gelatin. I like to useΒ Perfect Supplements gelatin.
Today Iβm sharing my homemade dairy-freeΒ strawberry milk recipe over at Delicious Obsessions. Itβs the perfect summertime drink for any childβ¦ or child at heart! Head on over and check it out!
