There’s nothing quite like waking up to a nice warm piece of fresh gluten-free banana bread sitting at the table waiting for you. The house is warm from the oven, it smells heavenly, and best of all: you didn’t have to do a thing! At least that’s how I imagine my kids feel when I make banana bread for their breakfast. 
 
Way back when I first posted this banana bread recipe I certainly didn’t know that feeling. Thankfully, my oldest is getting to the point where she will make breakfast for the family every now and again. And it’s amazing!
 

Cinnamon Yogurt Banana Bread

Whether you’re the baker or devourer (or both), this Cinnamon Yogurt Banana Bread will leave your house smelling amazing, and your tummy happier than it’s been all day.

With only a few simple, gluten-free ingredients, there’s nothing super complicated about it. And if you can’t have dairy, you can use coconut yogurt in place of the regular yogurt. (If you can have dairy, I suggest making your own yogurt for this and any recipe! It’s super easy, especially if you make it in the Instant Pot…)

Like pretty much everything I make, it’s super easy to whip up. The hardest part is waiting the almost 50 minutes for it to come out of the oven…

Cinnamon Yogurt Banana Bread

Free from gluten, eggs, and refined sugar, with dairy-free option.

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 and grease a loaf pan.

In large bowl, mash bananas (I like to use my pastry cutter).

Stir in honey, yogurt, and vanilla.

In separate bowl, whisk together dry ingredients, then pour them over wet ones.

Mix just until no dry streaks remain.

Pour into prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
