That’s how I imagine my kids feel when I make banana bread for their breakfast. Cause y’all know I certainly don’t know that feeling! Maybe in a few years…

Cinnamon Yogurt Banana Bread
Gluten, Egg & Refined Sugar Free, with Dairy-Free Option

  1. 4 very ripe bananas
  2. 1/3 c. honey
  3. 1 c. plain yogurt (use coconut yogurt for dairy-free)
  4. 1 t. vanilla (I like to make my own)
  5. 2/3 c. sorghum flour
  6. 2/3 c. brown rice flour
  7. 1/3 c. potato starch
  8. 1/3 c. arrowroot powder
  9. 3/4 t. xanthan gum
  10. 2 t. baking powder (Find out how to make your own here.)
  11. 1 t. baking soda
  12. 1 t. cinnamon
  13. 1/8 t. nutmeg
  14. 1/8 t. cloves
  1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In large bowl, mash bananas (I like to use my pastry cutter).
  3. Stir in honey, yogurt, and vanilla.
  4. In separate bowl, whisk together dry ingredients, then pour them over wet ones.
  5. Mix just until no dry streaks remain.
  6. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
