Breakfast… or dessert?

If you’ve been around this blog at all, you’ll know that dessert for breakfast is totally acceptable. I try to make all my desserts healthy enough that I can enjoy any time of day anyway. And sometimes I make my breakfasts decadent enough to serve them as a dessert!

Donuts, chia pudding, apple crisp, brownies… bring them on!

When my 5 year old woke up this morning, she asked if we could have cookies with kasha (oatmeal) in them for breakfast. I thought, eh, it’s Saturday, why not? So I whipped up these little guys.

Only 3 main ingredients, no gluten, eggs, dairy, or sugar. They’re pretty much oatmeal in cookie form!

Ironically, said daughter wouldn’t eat them because *gasp* they have raisins in them. Even though she loves raisins.

Sigh…

Thankfully, my hubby thought they were magnificent, and he, my oldest, and my son ate a whole 2 batches by themselves.
