Healthy snack time.

I’m convinced one of my kids’ favorite things in life is their ‘after nap’ snack. Since they’re all homeschooled, they don’t really have an after school snack, so we go for nap time, instead.
 
Homemade fruit snacks, smoothies, and popsicles are some of their go-tos. But every now and again I like to give them a little treat. Of course, I make those treats healthy enough that I don’t mind them devouring the whole batch.

Tiny everything.

I don’t know about your kids, but something mine love almost as much as snack time is anything tiny or miniature. They go crazy for my homemade mini donuts and marshmallows, and these ‘baby’ cookies, as they call them, are always a hit.
 
Mini things are always fun to make anyway, so I don’t mind indulging them. 😉

Baby Chocolate Chip Nut Butter Cookies

Free from gluten, eggs, dairy, and refined sugar.

Ingredients

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mash banana. Add nut butter and mix until smooth.
Stir in starch and flour. Add in the chocolate chips.
Using a teaspoon, scoop out the cookie dough and place on prepared cookie sheet.
Bake for for about 8 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
