Chocolate PB & B Brownies by Raia's Recipes


PB & B = peanut butter and banana, in case you were wondering. . . .

{Chocolate PB & B Brownies}
Free of grain, gluten, eggs, and dairy.

1 mashed banana (about 1 cup)
1/4 c. water
1/2 t. guar gum
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. + 2 T. evaporated cane juice
1/2 c. cocoa powder
1 t. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. diary-free chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish. While still in the peel, mush banana with your hands. Make a slit in the side and squish the banana out into a medium size bowl. Add water and cream with a fork. Sprinkle guar gum on top and mix in. Add salt, 1/2 c. sugar and cocoa powder and stir to combine. Sprinkle baking powder and soda on top and stir in. Add peanut butter and chocolate chips and mix until combined. Spread and pat into prepared pan and sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake for about 35 minutes.
