This Applesauce Banana Spice Bread is one of my family’s favorite quick breads. It’s easy 100% gluten-free, dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and delicious!

When I first started baking gluten-free, bread was intimidating for me. Well, everything was intimidating! I had no idea how I was going to live without my trusty standbys. 
Thankfully, I was quick to realize that banana breads are one of the easiest gluten-free breads to make! Woo-hoo! For months I was on a banana-bread-making spree – and it was a wonderful thing. 
This Applesauce Banana Spice Bread was the first gluten-free banana bread I came up with, and it has continued to be a popular recipe!

Applesauce Banana Spice Bread

Free from gluten, dairy, and refined sugar.



Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a loaf pan and set aside.

In large bowl, mash bananas. Add applesauce, eggs, honey and vanilla. Mix until creamy.

Place baking powder and soda on top of creamed mixture. Add remaining dry ingredients and mix until wet through.

Pour into greased loaf pan and bake 40 minutes.

Remove from oven and let rest in pan a few minutes before removing.

Let cool before slicing.
