I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time buying tahini in the store when I get the urge to make humus. Not only that, I also have a hard time finding it.
Good thing it’s super easy to make!
1 c. sesame seeds
5+ T. olive oil
Preheat oven to 400 and place sesame seeds on a cookie sheet. Roast for about 4 minutes, stirring often, until fragrant, but not browned. Combine in blender with enough olive oil to make a smooth paste (like peanut butter). Store covered in the fridge.
